Family Fun - Autumn in Dublin
“Autumn is the hardest season. The leaves are all falling, and they're falling like they're falling in love with the ground.” ― Andrea Gibson
Rose, George and Davin
I met little Rose (6 years), George (4 years) and Davin (1 year) for their first group family photo session together last weekend – there is something about a cousin bond that is so special. It was lovely for two Sisters to bring their families together – what a perfect idea for a family Christmas present.
So much love
The kids were such fun to hang out with – it doesn’t feel like work at all! All morning they were screaming: ‘Sarah, Sarah!’ to show me all the wondrous things they had found in the woodland nooks and crannies. We spotted spider webs, holly (which I’d never seen before!), secret fairy caves and even a bee hive!
Fun in the park
Have you checked out the beautiful gardens at Airfield Estate yet? It’s like a little slice of country in the city – well, actually not little. Airfield Estate boasts 38 acres of beautiful gardens, a working farm and heritage house! I love meandering around to visit the animals, they have gorgeous chickens, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, horses and even turkeys! It’s not all for the kids though, thankfully they have two cafes so you can grab a delicious lunch of breakfast afterwards, or just grab a coffee as you stroll through the impressive grounds. Autumn is the perfect time to book in family photography sessions, just like these photos show, the grounds are full of beautiful orange, brown and yellow leaves, which are perfect for the kids to play in! There are huge trees, all probably hundreds of years old which have the perfect sized branch for little people to climb up into.
