New Marketing Materials

New Marketing Materials

I had a special delivery today!

Anyone who knows me has seen the excitement when a postman delivers pretty new things to the door.

Business Cards

Today I received a beautiful package of goodies from which I only ordered yesterday. Have you heard about Moo? Might sound like a funny name but they are seriously the best in the biz when it comes to business cards and anything marketing/ branding related! I have been looking forward to creating my brand new marketing materials since my great friend BeRad Design pulled together this beautiful logo for me. I couldn’t wait to have it beautifully printed on my new business cards, envelope seals and thank you cards. What do you think? I just love the look and feel of these, as I was hoping for something professional but not too harsh with the black and white branding. I’ve also ordered a set of custom-designed wooden USB flash drives, so I can’t wait for them to arrive and send them off to my clients with their beautiful prints!

Whilst haven’t blogged in a while but it’s been all systems go since getting set up in Dublin. We now have a beautiful new house and a car, so are feeling much more settled. If you’ve been following me on Instagram you’ll see that we’re living in Dundrum, which feels like the country right in the heart of the city! I will never get tired of looking out the window each morning to see sheep, cows and goats* (my favourite)!

Next week I'm heading off to a 3-day advanced Photoshop course which I'm excited about, as composite images seem to be all the rage lately. Looking forward to sharing my practice examples with you soon! Here's a sneak peak from my first attempt this week (the nest below is from Luisa Dunn Photography's digital backdrop collection). I think it's a great way to include variety into client galleries whilst always ensuring safety for the baby.

*Speaking of goats, I did an awesome shoot a couple of months ago for a family who had 3 beautiful pet goats, so of course I had to feature them in the album! Look how cute and tame they are – this made my day :) Did you see my last blog post on why I think it's important to hire a family photographer (for your children or your 'kids' - get it!)? You can check it out here.
