Elliot Part II

Following on from my last blog about baby Elliot’s birth photo shoot (you can find it here if you missed it), I’m so excited to share with you the newborn photos! This little blondie was the first visitor to my new Fitzroy studio, and she was the best model at only 8 days new. It’s been a big week for her, two photoshoots in one week! And what a natural she was :)

I was so excited for this session, to see Elliot in a different light and create some beautiful images that I know her parents will adore. She was the cutest little thing, so tiny and sleepy - barely awake the whole session! I love to use beautiful neutral tones in my sessions, so ensure that the baby is the star of the show. Whites, creams, light greys, and a touch of baby pink or blue are always the perfect combination as you can see from these photos! Scroll down for the beautiful video of Elliot’s portrait session. Hopefully there will be an ‘Elliot Part III’ one day and I can share with you her first birthday photos!

What to expect in a newborn photo shoot

Sessions usually take about 1.5 - 2 hours, allowing plenty of time for rests, feeding & cuddles and setup /outfit changes and you are guaranteed to have a gallery of at least 25 images that you will love. The younger the baby is, the more likely they will sleep through your session and allow us to use more props and setups. But don’t get me wrong, I LOVE awake photos and it’s awesome when we get eye contact in the photos!

Now it’s your time to shine!

If you’d like to book in your own newborn, family or even birth photo shoot with me you can get more information here, or contact me anytime on 0418 526 248 or .
